…rprisingly, making it a positional argument between pet parents and industry staff gets us nowhere. It leads pet parents to take the argument and stance that, “professionals are just money hungry and don’t care about the animals” and, it leads industry staff to take the opposing position that, “people just shouldn’t own pets if they can’t afford them”.
