Great read! I love the idea of the little t's/BIG T'S and I'm always glad when I see it getting the attention it deserves. I wrote an article about them in the context of my eating disorder and how I believe the underlying chronic little t's can affect us more sometimes than the BIG T's (just like you mention doubting yourself in the presence of addiction). We can carry little's t's forever as part of the fabric of who we are. I am changed from the experience of growing up with anorexia lurking in the background - but because it didn't result from a BIG T, it can be minimized..
