I'm reading this 2 days after published - any update? If not, I would remove the submission and self-publish. I get that pubs are busy, but that is too long. I would appreciate a note acknowledging the backup if one one happening so you can make an informed decision on whether to wait or not based your preference, esp since it is time sensitive. My most successful piece was a self-publish so that's not a bad way to go.
